Adele Geras is the author of over eighty books for children, including Troy, which was shortlisted for the Carnegie Medal. She has written Goodbye Tommy Blue, part of Macmillan Children's Books' Shock Shop series. And her contribution to the illustrated biography series Lifelines was on Cleopatra. She lives in Manchester with her husband.
