My new book is out TODAY! I've been trying this experiment where I see what happens if I actually ask people to read my books. So: My new book is out TODAY!

Hi! My new book with @KateMessner, THE NEXT PRESIDENT, is out today. None of us are out. My book is, though.

I like to imagine my book is maybe at a nice restaurant, having breakfast with friends. Anyway, here's a spread from it.

Are here are a couple sketches of that same spread. I like seeing other people's sketches, so. One of the challenges of this book was the sheer volume of information that needed to fit on each page.

So whatever is earned from the sale of this little book, I’ll match it (up to $300), and together we’ll send a tidy little donation to Binc.

A word about the book—as if it isn’t obvious, NO PLANNING WHATSOEVER went into its execution. I stapled together some pages and kept drawing and writing until I ran out of them. This is a valuable gift like a tote bag from PBS is a valuable gift.
