Katja Spitzer grew up in East Germany and studied illustration at Martin Luther Universit_t in Halle and Illustration at the Hochschule f�r Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. She works as a freelance illustrator who is inspired by many things around her. Katja has illustrated and designed fiction book covers but this is her first children's book. She currently lives in Berlin.
